Baseball Recap: Aquinas Academy Takes a Loss

Aquinas Academy lost against Winchester Thurston on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crusaders came up short against Winchester Thurston, falling 10-3. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aquinas Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonah Burchill, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Aquinas Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Winchester Thurston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aquinas Academy will venture away from home to take on Apollo Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Winchester Thurston, they will head out to square off against Freedom Area at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
