Recap: Victory College Prep Bulldogs vs. Westfield Shamrocks
After soaring to 60 points the game before, the Victory College Prep Bulldogs were a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were beaten by Westfield 78-20. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Victory College Prep in their matchups with Westfield: they've now lost four in a row.
Trey Buchanan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Westfield, going 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 4 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Nic Book, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Victory College Prep has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Westfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
Victory College Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Riverside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Victory College Prep likes a good challenge. As for Westfield, Westfield and Fishers will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fishers will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
