Softball Recap: Brazosport Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Brazosport's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bay City Blackcats by a score of 9-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Exporters also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Brazosport pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bay City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Brazosport is taking a road trip to take on Wharton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay City, they will take on Sweeny at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sweeny has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.22 runs per game on average), something Bay City will no doubt try to take advantage of.
