Softball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Englewood last Wednesday, Westside came back down to earth. The Wolverines came up short against the Eagle's View Warriors on Wednesday, falling 20-3. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in February of 2018.

Naylani Romero was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Westside's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eagle's View, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13.

While Westside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
