Football Game Preview: Oakland Christian Lancers vs. Benton Harbor Tigers

Last Friday, Oakland Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lutheran, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Oakland Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colin Kolb, who rushed for 118 yards and one score, and also threw for 56 yards and one touchdown. The Lancers' leading receiver Jake Brock was Kolb's top target yet again, picking up 18 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Benton Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-26 heartbreaker at the hands of Muskegon Catholic Central. On the bright side, the 26- point performance marked the Tigers' highest-scoring matchup to date.
