Softball Recap: Moniteau Warriors vs. Brookville Raiders
Moniteau was the 10-0 winner over Brookville when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Raiders on Monday, falling 14-4. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexi Mcghee put in work no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off eight hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Alex Stewart was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Lexi Thomas also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
