Sterlington came up short on Tuesday despite Cooper Nelson delivering his best game to date. Nelson went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 41 points in addition to seven assists and five boards. The effort marked the most points he has had since back in December of 2023. His evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

Looking ahead, Nelson and Sterlington will challenge Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
