Basketball Recap: Pullman Comes Up Short

The Pullman Greyhounds lost 65-40 to the Deer Park Stags on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Stags are ranked 11th).

Pullman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Deer Park, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pullman will host West Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Deer Park, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Valley at 5:30 p.m. Deer Park knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully East Valley likes a good challenge.
