Football Recap: Hazen Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hazen lost against Killdeer back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bison took a blow against the Cowboys, falling 33-6. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Despite the defeat, Hazen saw an underclassman step up: freshman Trevor Schutt rushed for 68 yards and one score.

Hazen is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Killdeer, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hazen is set to square off against their familiar foe Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] on Friday. Meanwhile, Killdeer will take on rival Trinity on Friday.
