Basketball Recap: Trinity at Meadow View Comes Up Short on the Road Against Christ Chapel Academy

Trinity at Meadow View had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The contest between the Tempest and Christ Chapel Academy didn't end well, with the Tempest falling 51-37. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Christ Chapel Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amare Hicks led the charge by putting up 15 points. Those 15 points gave Hicks a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateus Fernando, who posted ten points.

Looking ahead, Trinity at Meadow View will head out on the road to challenge Immanuel Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they will welcome Fairfax HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Christ Chapel Academy will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
