The Peters Township Indians put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came out on top against Canon-McMillan by a score of 23-10. For Peters Township, this counts as revenge for the 26-7 loss Canon-McMillan walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

When it comes to explaining why Canon-McMillan lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zach Welsh. Despite the final result, he rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Peters Township's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. As for Canon-McMillan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
