Volleyball Recap: Tripoli Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clarksville on Thursday, Tripoli came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Jefferson Hawks on Saturday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Tripoli has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Jefferson, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Tripoli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus on the 13th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 13th.
