Volleyball Recap: Weed Falls Despite Big Games from Ahmani Collins and Judith Atondo + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Weed can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Etna Lions on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat two weeks ago.

Judith Atondo and Ahmani Collins certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Atondo had 15 digs, while Collins had eight kills and one block. Atondo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Weed has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-13 record this season. As for Etna, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9-2 record this season.

Weed does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Etna, they will face off against Redding Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
