Volleyball Recap: Perry Wins High-Profile Game Against Chandler

Perry faced Chandler in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Pumas walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolves. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in March.

Perry had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 25-10, 25-23.

Leading Perry to victory were Zach Tomlinson and Brady Breinholt. Tomlinson had 21 assists and five digs, while Breinholt had 13 digs and one assist. Tomlinson has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last six times he's played.

The Colts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
