Ottoville is 7-2 against Leipsic since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Ottoville Big Green will welcome the Leipsic Vikings at 12:00 p.m. Ottoville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, Ottoville was able to grind out a solid win over Elida, taking the game 58-46. Given the Big Green's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 252nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leipsic). They came out on top against Vanlue on Thursday by a score of 45-26 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Vikings with their most commanding win of the season.

Ottoville pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Leipsic, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.

Everything went Ottoville's way against Leipsic in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Ottoville made off with a 55-31 victory. Does Ottoville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Leipsic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
