Baseball Recap: Kennedy Cougars vs. Grant Pacers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Park, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Grant Pacers. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 victory the Pacers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Enecio Moreno was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
