Cross Keys waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Tapestry Charter Titans 56-23. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.

Cross Keys got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trenton Boone out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Boone also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Cross Keys is 10-4 when he posts at least five steals, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dre Tucker, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Cross Keys is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Tapestry Charter, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cross Keys will venture away from home to square off against Fulton Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tapestry Charter, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mill Springs Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
