Recap: Bethel Bison vs. Bellarmine Prep Lions
After flying high against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels on Wednesday, the Bethel Bison came back down to earth. The match between Bethel and Bellarmine Prep wasn't particularly close, with Bethel falling 60-44. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bethel in their matchups with Bellarmine Prep: they've now lost three in a row.
Bethel's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Timari Fruster, who scored 9 points. Aanjili Sanehi was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bellarmine Prep, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Bethel will head out on the road to face off against Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellarmine Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Xavier Prep at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th.
