Basketball Game Preview: Monticello Panthers vs. Downsville Central Eagles

The Monticello Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Downsville Central Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Monticello is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Monticello didn't have quite enough to beat Minisink Valley and fell 53-51.

Meanwhile, Downsville Central took care of business in their home opener back in December of 2024. They came out on top against Liberty by a score of 51-42.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Downsville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
