Basketball Preview: High School of the Future vs. Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers
High School of the Future will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Even though Strawberry Mansion scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, High School of the Future still came out on top. High School of the Future enjoyed a cozy 73-58 victory over the Knights.
High School of the Future had a senior duo take command as A Jeune scored 36 points along with seven assists and three steals and G Banks dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jeune has scored at least a third of High School of the Future's points. N Reddy was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Meanwhile, Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Motivation with a sharp 73-49 victory. Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Francisco Quiles out in front who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Quiles has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kwasi Hawkins, who scored 16 points.
High School of the Future's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
