Royal waltzed into their match on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Moorpark Musketeers with a sharp 8-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Highlanders have won by exactly seven runs.

Dustin Dunnwoody looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Peyton Visage, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brady Hewitt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Royal's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Moorpark, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
