Volleyball Recap: St. Michael Catholic Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

St. Michael Catholic came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Saraland Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-20.

St. Michael Catholic's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-5. As for Saraland, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

St. Michael Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Niceville on the 29th. As for Saraland, they will host Fairhope at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
