Columbia County Christian had won 12 straight games and Pierce Cughan did his part to make it 13 on Friday. Columbia County Christian strolled past Grace Prep with points to spare, taking the game 71-54 thanks in part to Cughan, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. The match was his 15th in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Conklin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

Columbia County Christian pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Grace Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Columbia County Christian will square off against Belleville Mennonite at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
