Hyannis scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Sioux County, 44-28. At the time, the Warriors were ranked 19th in the state, while the Longhorns were 38th.

Hyannis added to the longest winning streak in 6-Man West (6 Man) this week by beating Sioux County, 44-28. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Cody-Kilgore's dynamic duo of Austin Wobig and Taryn Ostransky proved tough for Silver Lake to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wobig threw for 223 yards and Ostransky had 138 yards receiving. Wyatt Galloway helped Cody-Kilgore's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 35 yards.

Travis Hoover provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Longhorns beat Barry Swisher's team. He completed 2 passes for 51 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 206 yards. Hoover's key target this week was Gabe Haney, who caught 3 passes for 64 yards.

The Warriors' Nathan Woodrum and Garrett Ellis have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Woodrum has thrown for 1,361 yards this season, while Ellis has 38 catches for 717 yards. Hoover from Hyannis leads the league in rushing with 2,428 yards.

Ostransky has rushed for 997 yards on 161 carries so far this year.

The Cowboys lost to the Mustangs 44-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ostransky was a bright spot for Cody-Kilgore, as he ran for 91 yards and caught 8 passes for 138 yards in the loss.
