Baseball Recap: Moorestown Friends Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmyra, Moorestown Friends was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Willingboro Chimeras. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Foxes considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

The victory got Moorestown Friends back to even at 1-1. As for Willingboro, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorestown Friends will face off against Burlington City at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Willingboro, they will head out to take on Medford Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.14 runs per game on average), something the Chimeras will no doubt try to take advantage of.
