Volleyball Recap: West Holmes Takes a Loss

West Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Madison Comprehensive Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, West Holmes saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Harper Warner had ten digs and three aces. Emmy Miller also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Aryana Rogers was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in August.

West Holmes' loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Madison Comprehensive, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Holmes will square off against rival Mansfield Senior at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Madison Comprehensive is set to take on their familiar foe Ashland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
