Football Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Cosby was riding high fresh off their 56-0 takedown of Unaka last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost to the North Greene Huskies on the road by a 35-19 margin on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Cosby still got an impressive performance from David Baker, who rushed for 138 yards and one score. Baker didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made five total tackles (1.0 for loss). Cornelius Carr got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Cosby now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Greene, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Cosby has already played their next matchup, a 42-8 victory against Hancock County on the 26th. As for North Greene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 46-6 defeat against Hampton on the 26th.
