The Mission Bay Buccaneers will face off against the Mira Mesa Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mission Bay has seven straight wins, Mira Mesa has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

It was another big night for Trey Arnold, who threw for 220 yards and four TDs while completing 75.9% of his passes. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made one tackle.

Meanwhile, Mira Mesa fought the good fight in their overtime game against Rancho Buena Vista on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 10-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Marauders have suffered since October 4, 2024.

Mission Bay's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Mira Mesa, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
