Softball Recap: Baker Hornets vs. Bryant Hurricanes
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Baker had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Bryant Hurricanes 10-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Baker.
The team relied heavily on Kaylee Shelly, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Klaire Frost was another key contributor, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with a home run.
Baker has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-22 record this season. As for Bryant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-18-1.
