After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Briggsdale, Peetz was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Creek Valley Storm as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.
Peetz walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-4, 25-16.
Joslynn Pennington paced Peetz's offense, picking up seven kills. Pennington got some help from Rylee Raffelson and her 22 assists. Alexis Gentry controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.
Peetz's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Creek Valley, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
Coincidentally, Peetz and Creek Valley will both be playing Banner County the next time they take the court. The Storm will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
