Basketball Recap: Tallassee Takes a Loss

Tallassee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats and fell 63-28. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Wildcats are ranked sixth).

Tallassee's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tallassee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-56 defeat against Holtville on the 18th. Trinity Presbyterian has also already played their next game, a 33-32 victory against Midfield on the 20th.
