Basketball Recap: Tom Bean Victorious

If Calvary Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Tom Bean, they should've done a better job of containing Jacob Lind. The Tom Bean Tomcats blew past the Calvary Academy Lions 63-40 on Friday thanks in part to Lind, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Tom Bean's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Calvary Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Tom Bean wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-42 victory against Bridgeport on the 6th. As for Calvary Academy, they will take on First Baptist in a tournament on Thursday.
