Basketball Recap: Grenada Chargers vs. Lake Cormorant

The Grenada Chargers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 60-53 win over Lake Cormorant. For Grenada, this counts as revenge for the 57-55 loss the walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Grenada's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carlei Brown led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Brown hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Lauren Harges was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
