Baseball Game Recap: Penns Valley Area Rams vs. Bishop Carroll Huskies

Penns Valley Area had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-16 to make it 11. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. If they were looking for revenge after losing 9-3 to the Huskies when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Bishop Carroll, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 14th.

For Bishop Carroll's part, Cullen Myers was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The Huskies are 2-1 when Myers posts two or more runs, but 1-13 otherwise. Ethan Holtz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Penns Valley Area has already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Bellefonte on the 6th. As for Bishop Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Chestnut Ridge on the 6th.
