Basketball Recap: Oxford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Imlay City last Thursday, Oxford came back down to earth. The Oxford Wildcats fell to Regina 42-36. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Regina apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Oxford now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Regina, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford will take on Stevenson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Regina, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Everest Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everest Collegiate will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Regina surely won't give up without a fight.
