Baseball Recap: Muhlenberg Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Muhlenberg's offense. They came up short against the Wilson Bulldogs on Friday, falling 6-0. The Muhls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Muhlenberg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Keller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

With the defeat, Muhlenberg broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8. As for Wilson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Muhlenberg will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cedar Cliff at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
