Volleyball Game Preview: Barron Golden Bears vs. Unity Eagles

The Barron Golden Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Unity Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Barron will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Barron got the win against Hayward by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Barron was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-9, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Unity made easy work of Ladysmith on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won three in a row.

Unity not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ladysmith between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.

Barron's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Unity, their win bumped their record up to 20-10.
