Volleyball Recap: Windermere Prep Find Success + How To Watch

Windermere Prep hadn't done well against Trinity Prep recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lakers came out on top against the Saints by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Lakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Windermere Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 26-24.

Windermere Prep found their leader in sophomore Sophia Wadsworth, who had 20 digs and three assists. Those 20 digs set a new season-high mark for Wadsworth. Another player making a difference was Kamilah Hamdan, who had ten digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Windermere Prep and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Trinity Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Windermere Prep will head out on the road to square off against Foundation Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Geneva at 6:30 p.m.
