Volleyball Recap: Kamryn Bonnell and Ashley Plotts Secure Win for Lyons

Lyons barely beat Dundee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Scotsmen 3-0 on Wednesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Scotsmen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-5, 25-8.

Leading Lyons to victory were Ashley Plotts and Kamryn Bonnell. Plotts had four digs and four aces, while Bonnell had 19 assists and four aces. Bonnell has been hot, having posted 19 or more assists the last six times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Lyons was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since October 6th.

Lyons' win bumped their record up to 21-5-3. As for Dundee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

As of now, neither Lyons nor the Scotsmen have any future games scheduled.
