The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 49-39 victory over Robert Toombs Christian Academy. This was payback for Edmund Burke Academy, who suffered a 35-30 loss the last time these two teams met.
Edmund Burke Academy was led to victory by Braelyn Reeves and Zaylie Baker. Reeves scored 12 points along with 4 steals, while Baker scored 19 points along with 9 steals and 5 rebounds. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bulloch Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
