North Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-21 heartbreaker at the hands of the R.J. Reynolds Demons. On the bright side, the 21- run effort marked the Vikings' highest-scoring matchup to date.

North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for R.J. Reynolds, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-17.

Coming up, North Forsyth will head out on the road to square off against McMichael at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Phoenix have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season. As for R.J. Reynolds, they will welcome South Davidson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
