Soccer Recap: Edison Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edison can now relate to. They came up short against the Lake Braddock Bruins on Thursday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Edison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Lake Braddock are ranked 119th).

Edison dropped their record down to 2-12-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lake Braddock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Edison nor Lake Braddock have any future games scheduled.
