 The Lake Placid Bombers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Chazy Eagles at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Lake Placid is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses.
 With a playoff game on the line, Lake Placid rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They took down the Warriors 48-31. Lake Placid's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Kyra Jordon continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and 28  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Danna Perez, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 20  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Chazy came tearing into  last Tuesday's  game with eight straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Schroon Lake with  points to spare, taking the game  47-32.
  Emma Howell and  Carly LaPierre were among the main playmakers for Chazy as the former  scored 12 points and the latter  scored 21 points.
 Lake Placid's record is now 6-15. Chazy's record is now 16-3.
 Lake Placid was taken down by Chazy 89-35 in their previous meeting  back in January. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lake Placid was down  44-18.
