Volleyball Recap: Clinton Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pleasant View Christian on Saturday, Clinton Christian came back down to earth. The Couriers came up short against the Calumet Christian Patriots on Saturday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Couriers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-10.

Calumet Christian can attribute much of their success to Alexa Rentas, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Rentas has posted since back in September.

Clinton Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for Calumet Christian, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-4.

Clinton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calumet Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m.
