Softball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee lost against Agape Christian back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Redskins fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-5. That's two games in a row now that the Redskins have lost by just one run.

Emma Young was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Shawnee and nudges their season record down to 3-4. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Agape Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Shawnee will be playing at home against Zeigler-Royalton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Agape Christian, they will head out to face off against Cobden at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
