Eldorado took a five-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Canyon Springs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Firehawks had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 2-1 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Eldorado sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Eldorado's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Canyon Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 8-1.

Eldorado wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Equipo Academy on the 11th. As for Canyon Springs, they will be playing at home against Las Vegas at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Springs' defense better be ready for this one: Las Vegas have averaged an impressive 4.1 goals per game this season.
