Softball Recap: Reed Raiders vs. Bishop Manogue Miners
It's playoff time, and Reed had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Bishop Manogue Miners with a sharp 9-1 win on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won four matches in a row.
Hayley Noble spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Krystyn Noble was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and four RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played.
