Basketball Recap: Olney Comes Up Short

If Olney was riding high fresh off their 82-53 takedown of Paint Rock on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Olney Cubs lost 64-39 to the Ballinger Bearcats on Saturday.

Olney now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Ballinger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olney will venture away from home to take on Seymour at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seymour will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Olney surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ballinger, they will head out to square off against Winters at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
