Two unbeaten teams from the same town of Frisco battled a day early on Thursday night.

Fourth-ranked Lone Star toyed with its cross-town rival Independence, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter and three more in the second to roll to a 63-14 victory.

Jake Bogdon and Jaden Nixon each rushed for two scores and quarterback Garret Rangel rushed and passed for a touchdown as Lone Star raced to a 42-6 lead before cruising to the win.



Also among the undefeated is No. 1 Duncanville, which hosts Lake Highlands on Friday evening.
