Softball Recap: Chaparral Wolverines vs. Legend Titans
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chaparral can now relate to. They lost 12-1 to the Legend Titans on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Wolverines couldn't push the score so high this time.
Chaparral saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scarlett Hum, who went 3-for-3 with an RBI. What's more, Hum also racked up three hits, the most she's had since back in September.
Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Legend, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
Chaparral does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legend, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Cherokee Trail at 10:00 a.m. Cherokee Trail knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Legend likes a good challenge.
